Resources for country teams

The world is off track to reach the SDGs: we are currently progressing at about one quarter of the pace needed to reach the health-related SDG targets by 2030.

Stronger collaboration is one way to support countries accelerate progress, in support of national priorities and plans.

Although referred to as a “global” plan, the added value of the SDG3 GAP lies in coordinated support, action and progress in countries, through a focus on collaboration for impact.

SDG3 GAP country-facing teams are working with governments to bring the Plan to life at country level, with support from regional and global collaboration structures and communities of practice.

The resources on this page specifically address country teams and aim to support the country-level implementation of the SDG3 GAP by sharing useful background information and awareness raising materials. This is in line with the joint letter by the SDG3 GAP Principals, asking country facing teams to continue supporting the commitments and identifying ways to further deepen and scale joint work at country level.

“Although collaboration is the path, impact is the destination.”
