Eleventh meeting of the WHO Vector Control Advisory Group

Overview

Experts, innovators and other stakeholders met in Geneva on 11–13 November 2019 for the eleventh meeting of the WHO Vector Control Advisory Group (VCAG). The open session was attended by VCAG members, applicants and product developers, the WHO Secretariat, and other stakeholders including representatives of donor and procurement agencies. The closed meeting was attended by VCAG members, the WHO Secretariat, applicants (product developers, innovators and researchers) and relevant parties only. This report details the proceedings and outcomes of the meeting, including advice provided to the following applicants: endectocides, lethal house lures, piperonyl butoxide-impregnated nets, spatial repellents and Wolbachia suppression.
