IOAC Field visit to Chad, 29 September – 4 October 2024

Overview

IOAC field missions are a critical component of the Committee’s workplan to assess WHO’s performance in support of national health authorities for emergencies, the operational aspects of the WHE Programme and WHO’s relations with ministries and partners on the ground. The mission focused on WHO’s response to the outbreak of dengue, the flooding, the Sudanese refugee crisis in Eastern Chad, and the cross-border operations.
