Youth Declaration on Creating Healthy Societies
Building well-being, resilience, and trust

Overview
The Youth Declaration on Creating Healthy Societies from the WHO Youth Council launched on the 14th of October 2024, calls for urgent, collaborative action to build well-being, resilience, and trust across societies. The declaration outlines 10 key actions across three priority areas: health education and literacy, accessible and sustainable healthcare, and youth leadership and engagement. It emphasizes the importance of equitable education that fosters digital, health, and civic literacy; accessible healthcare tailored to youth needs; and the inclusion of young people in decision-making. This initiative invites governments, civil society, private sectors, and individuals to join efforts in creating inclusive, supportive environments where young people can lead and thrive.
