Election of Regional Director for South-East Asia Region

A Special Session of the Regional Committee is scheduled to be convened at WHO headquarters in Geneva on Saturday, 23 January 2027, to nominate the next Regional Director for WHO South-East Asia.

Based on the Regional Committee’s recommendation, the Executive Board is expected to appoint the Regional Director at its 160^th session in Geneva, from 25 January to 2 February 2027.
