So much of life is seen through our eyes, and at some stage almost everyone will need care for an eye condition. Today globally, at least 1 billion people have a vision impairment due to uncorrected refractive errors, cataracts, glaucoma, or diabetic retinopathy that could have been prevented or has yet to be addressed.

Good eye health is essential for education, work, and everyday life. Without timely diagnosis and treatment, these conditions can steal independence, close doors to opportunity, and diminish quality of life.

Have vision is a storytelling platform that shares real-life stories of people whose lives have changed as a result of access to eye health services, such as getting eyeglasses, having surgery to restore their sight, or getting preventive care. It also includes motivational testimonies from eye care personnel, emphasizing their vital role in guaranteeing everyone has access to high-quality eye care.

By telling these stories, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of eye health and advocate for universal access to eye care services without financial hardship, ensuring everyone can live with fairness, health, and dignity.

If getting eye care has changed your life or if you are an eye care personnel who is making a difference, we want to hear from you.
