The website of Annie Lab is a member of the WHO-led project Vaccine Safety Net (VSN).
Annie Lab is a fact-checking project at the Journalism & Media Studies Centre at the University of Hong Kong in collaboration with ANNIE (Asian Network of News & Information Educators), a not-for-profit educational organization in Hong Kong.
Among other things, we investigate widely shared misleading claims and inaccurate news reports about medical science, especially vaccine safety. We aim to provide evidence-based information to media professionals, healthcare communities, and the general public.
Annie Lab is a verified signatory of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and a member of the WHO-led project Vaccine Safety Net (VSN).
