InfoVac

The Infovac platform was created by the Chair of Vaccinology of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Geneva under the auspices of the Swiss Pediatric Society and the Federal Office of Public Health (OFSP). The Infovac expert network informs the public through its website and is constantly available to doctors and pharmacists to answer their questions related to vaccinations.

Description of the website

The website of InfoVac is a member of the WHO-led project Vaccine Safety Net (VSN).

Vaccine safety information provided as part of a larger body of evidence on vaccine-preventable diseases and immunizations. Format includes fact sheets and Q&A section.

Website’s sponsorship policy

Funding by the Federal office of public health and medical societies (pediatrics, infectious diseases, allergology-immunology) sponsoring the membership of their members to Infovac (which entitles them to a monthly newsletter and – mostly – the guarantee of receiving within 24-48h an expert answer to any vaccine-related question.
