Description of the website

The website of SOTOPED is a member of the WHO-led project Vaccine Safety Net (VSN).

On a scientific basis, the website presents information to parents and health professionals. Information for parents includes the importance of vaccination, vaccine components, types of vaccines, post-immunization adverse events and the Togo vaccination schedule.

The information for health professionals covers the history of vaccination, the immune system, the routes of administration of vaccines, contraindications and anaphylaxis to vaccines and communication around vaccination.
