The website of vaccination-info.be is a member of the WHO-led project Vaccine Safety Net (VSN).
Vaccination-info.be is the vaccination information website for French-speaking Belgians. The site develops the information according to different levels of reading in order to promote its accessibility. Initially succinct, the information is then supplemented by references and links to validated scientific documents. Moreover, during reading, users can directly access the definition of scientific or difficult words, by placing their mouse over these. Vaccination-info.be aims to meet several objectives:
- Inform about vaccination and vaccines throughout life;
- Allow a better understanding of vaccination: usefulness, diseases, mechanisms of action, etc;
- Provide information on the modalities of access to vaccines: vaccination program of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, approved vaccination centres, occupational medicine, etc;
- Answer the most common questions about vaccination and vaccines in Belgium.
Vaccination-info.be's audience is the general pubic and more particularly anyone with questions about vaccination. Health professionals are not specifically targeted by the website.
