Curriculum guide

The Curriculum guide structures the training into four modules: background, prevention, detection, and response. Each module includes an overview, teaching recommendations, and defined learning objectives. The curriculum guide is designed to be flexible and adaptable, allowing trainers to customize the content to needs and contexts of their learners.

3.1 Module A. Background on SFMPs and their impact on public health

This module covers definitions, determinants, risks, scope and scale, and WHO strategies.

3.2 Module B. Prevent

This module covers regulatory oversight, quality assurance, and communication.

3.3 Module C. Detect

This module covers visual inspection, regulatory action, and global surveillance, field technologies and laboratory methods for quality control and tracing of medical products.

3.4 Module D. Respond

This module covers reporting SFMPs, patient care, communication strategies, risk assessment and incident management.
